After his education, he gained broad experience in the jewelry industry under the mentorship of his elder brother K Tharuvayi Haji in his Jewelry in Kalpetta, Wayanad. It was the wide range of practical knowledge and exposure he gathered from this period that facilitated the realization of his dream of a showroom in Mukkam, Kozhikode.
